The challenge

Paying £60k+ on their old system with other large fees on top, HCL IBS couldn’t expand their benefits without paying £5k to configure each one. With HR and SAP embedded in their business, they needed a new, benefits-only platform that was simple, accessible and cost-effective.

The solution

With Eppione, HCL IBS had a flexible platform they could add just about any benefit to. It also lets employees choose their own benefits from any desktop or mobile device. Reducing costs and simplifying admin for everyone, our client could now expand their benefit range without any extra cost.

The service

We had between November and December 2016 to replace the existing platform. And give every employee the chance to choose their benefits before the end of the year. Onboarding their prior rewards, we added six new ones in time for our 1st December launch. Reports then went to payroll for the mid-January run.

  • Benefit days hosting across three sites, with providers talking to employees.

The outcome

HCL IBS can now add more benefits to the platform at no extra cost. With the client now offering 19 benefits, that’s around £5k of savings for each one. Plus, our brokers unearthed extra savings on some of their core benefits. Not least a 10% discount on medical insurance premiums, covering the entire cost of the platform in year one.
